Spurring New Research on the Demography of Aging

Annual Pilot Project Program
MiCDA sponsors an annual pilot project program designed to seed new lines of scientific inquiry on the demography of aging.
Pilot projects typically result in multiple presentations and at least one published paper. Often pilot recipients go on to submit successful grant applications related to their pilot work. Pilots also may lead to new data resources, study cohorts, or protocols.
Faculty Development Programs
MiCDA provides early career affiliates with the opportunity to deepen their knowledge on the demography of aging.
Fellows Program:
Support for up to two years to develop interests in consultation with one or more experienced MiCDA affiliates
Faculty Development Program:
Support for early career faculty members to attend the RAND Summer Institute on Aging
Symposium and Conferences:
To build connections across the MICDA community, MiCDA sponsors an annual Symposium for pilot project recipients and occasional career development conferences for affiliates
