NHATS User Workshop Auditing Option

The National Health and Aging Trends Study (NHATS) and the National Study of Caregiving (NSOC) will host two virtual workshops this summer. The NHATS workshop will be held June 24-26, 2024.  The NSOC workshop will be held July 29-31, 2024.

This page contains information about the option to audit the workshops. This means that you can attend the overview lectures covering NHATS/NSOC basics and you may attend office hours for auditors on the last day to ask questions.

The audit option is best for researchers who are still familiarizing themselves with NHATS or NSOC, but have a particular research question in mind.  Lectures cover how to find and use online materials, merging files, choosing an analytic sample and weighting.

We also recommend that auditors register for the NHATS online course.

Please register below.  A webinar link will be sent to registrants in June.  (If you have applied to attend the workshop you do not need to register to audit).
